Mackoy Announces Leadership Update

Ben Bousfield has been promoted from his role as Commercial Manager to Managing Director, having played a pivotal part in Mackoy’s progress to date. His deep understanding of the business, strong commercial capability, and hands-on leadership style make him well placed to lead the day-to-day management and operational performance of the company, including the opening of Mackoy’s new office later this year.

At the same time, Michael Mayock moves into the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Macon Group, where he will oversee the strategic direction of the wider business, which includes Mackoy, Macra Land, and a newly formed housebuilding division.

Mike will remain actively involved with Mackoy, working closely with Ben and the wider leadership team, while focusing his time on supporting the broader direction of the business and identifying future opportunities for Mackoy.

This transition represents a natural evolution for the company and reinforces Mackoy’s commitment to strong leadership and continuity. With Ben leading the day-to-day operations and providing strategic oversight, Mackoy is well positioned for its next chapter.
