Unveiling the new Mackoy website

01 November 2018

For some time now we've been busy behind the scenes working to refresh our Mackoy website and after weeks of hard work, and keeping our lips firmly sealed, we can now finally reveal the results for the first time.

Live from today our new website not only has a very different look, feel and navigation from our last. It also goes into far more detail about what we do, who we are, and the past and present groundworks contracts we're working on. So visitors to the site should now be able to quickly get to grips with our civil engineering and groundworks services. As well as finding detailed explanations of everything we can deliver as part of our groundworks contracts.

On the new homepage we've included a brief introductory video showing our groundwork operatives in action on some of our clients' worksites. Together with case studies showcasing some of the live projects our team are currently working on, and links to our services, careers and client pages. Giving site users the opportunity to read more about the house builders we work with everyday at Mackoy Ltd and the exciting developments we've been part of creating during our seven-year growth.

In fact we even have a dedicated growth page on our new website including a timeline of our evolution over the years. Not only detailing how our business operations have expanded in just a short space of time but also the key milestones we've achieved. Including securing our first major groundworks contract from Bellway less than one year after we launched our groundworks services in Hampshire.

Our new website is the first time we've undergone a complete design overhaul since we established Mackoy back in 2011. But with the scale and scope of our groundworks operations growing considerably year on year it was becoming increasingly necessary to reflect this in our B2B website. As well as having a platform where we can advertise the groundworks jobs available in our gangs. One of the key features you'll find on our new look careers page, accessible from our main navigation menu.

The site itself has been designed, built and developed by Merchant, a leading creative agency in Hampshire who specialise in digital design and growth marketing. So their locality, as well as their impressive client list and credentials, made them the perfect fit to help us rebuild our website and take our business forward.

Along with helping us to create the video and photography assets you see throughout the new site Merchant came up with an impressive design for the website's appearance, based on our Mackoy brand colours. Something that was important for us to maintain as part of our identity. Being that our Mackoy plant, as well as our operatives' site safety gear, is fully branded with our now infamous blue and red Mackoy logo.

Merchant's design for the site also takes inspiration from our work in civil engineering and groundworks excavations too, with technical drawings, site plans and plant tyre tracks all incorporated into elements of the page layouts. A nice little nod to the industry we operate in, as well as the work our groundworks team undertake day in day out on our clients' builds. So we couldn't be happier with the final look and feel of the new Mackoy site, which we now feel adequately represents us as a business.

We currently offer our groundworks services to homebuilders throughout Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Berkshire and Surrey but we'll happily discuss a project outside of these catchments with you too. To talk to our team about a new development you're planning simply use the form on our contact page or give our head office a call. Our business hours are Monday-Friday from 7am-5pm. So don't hesitate to get in touch if you need an experienced groundworks contractor to help bring your next residential development to life.
